X appears to be down, per Downdetector, as the app and website are not loading for several users globally. The Elon Musk-owned platform has been down since about 3:20 pm IST with 2,500 reports logged at peak.
Both the website and app seem to be affected with users unable to refresh their timeline.
According to Downdetector, 54% of the reports were pertaining to the website while 42% complaints were about the app.
The cause for the outage is still unknown.
The platform suffered a similar widespread outage in August last year.
