HMD on Thursday (March 20, 2025) launched the Barbie phone in India featuring an inner and outer display. The flip feature phone targets the Barbie fans in the country with its bright pink colour option.
HMD’s Barbie phone has 2.8-inch QVGA inner display while the outer display is of 1.77-inch. The phone weighs over 123 grams.
The Barbie flip phone sports a 0.3 MP rear camera with flash. There is no front camera on this phone.
HMD has added a 1,450 mAh removable battery in Barbie phone which can give up to 9 hours of talktime. It uses Type-C port for charging.

For connectivity, Barbie phone supports Bluetooth 5.0 and above, has a 3.5mm jack. It has wireless FM radio and MP3 player.
The Finnish tech startup has used Unisoc T107 processor with 64 MB RAM and 128 MB storage on Barbie flip which can be expanded to 32 GB via microSD card.
There will be Barbie-themed user interface, Easter eggs, and apps including Malibu Snake, Digital balance tips, and Barbie meditation. Barbie phone uses S30+ operating system.
HMD Barbie phone will sell for ₹7,999 on company’s website in India.
