Oppo on Thursday (March 20, 2025) launched the F29 series featuring Oppo F29 and Oppo F29 Pro smartphones in India. Both the smartphones come with IP66, IP68 and IP69 rated and MIL-STD-810H-2022 standards.
The Oppo F29 series also brings gen features like Circle to Search, AI features like AI Summary, AI Rewrite, and Extract Chart.
Its AI Toolbox 2.0 has features like Screen Translator, AI Writer, AI Reply and AI Recording Summary that can record in English, Hindi and Tamil till five hours and generate notes, summaries and transcripts.
Oppo F29 Pro has a 6.7-inch quad-curved AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate while the Oppo F29 uses a flat AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. Both smartphones can reach 1200 nits peak brightness.

Oppo F29 Pro has a 6,000 mAh battery supported by an 80 W SUPERVOOC charger while the F29 gets a 6,500 mAh battery along with a 45W SUPERVOOC charger inside the box. Both smartphone support reverse charging.
Oppo F29 Pro runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Energy chipset whereas the F29 uses Snapdragon 6 Gen 1. Both models run on ColorOS 15 based on Android 15. Oppo will offer 2 years of OS updates with 3 years of security patches on the phones.
Oppo has used a 50 MP main, a 2 MP depth and a 16 MP selfie camera on the Oppo F29 Pro and the F29. They also have AI features like AI Livephoto, AI Unblur, AI Reflection Remover, and AI Eraser 2.0.
The Oppo F29 Pro comes in Marble White and Granite Black starting at ₹27,999 (8 GB/128 GB), ₹29,999 (8 GB/256 GB), and ₹31,999 (12 GB/256 GB) variants, respectively. It will sell on Oppo e-store, Flipkart, Amazon and mainline retail outlet from April 1.
Oppo F29 has Solid Purple and Glacier Blue colours. It will come in two variants: ₹23,999 (8 GB/128 GB), ₹25,999 (8 GB/256 GB) variants, respectively. It goes on sale from March 27.
