Apple has released the iOS 18.4 update for iPhone and iPad with new Apple Intelligence features. With priority notifications, the AI system can determine which alerts are more important and require immediate attention so they are displayed on top of the user’s notification stack.
With this update, Apple also expands Apple Intelligence to several new languages including French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, Japanese, Korean and Chinese and localised English for Singapore and India, the hardware maker said.
There are also some additions to the Image Playground with a new style available called Sketch, and the Photos app has new filters so users can hide and reorder items in different collections.
In India, owners of iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max and iPhone 16 models will be able to use Apple Intelligence features like writing tools, visual search, Genmoji and the ChatGPT integration.
Apple Intelligence will also be available on Vision Pro and visionOS 2.4.
The company recently announced that they will be delaying the release of the fully revamped Siri to next year.
