Vivo launched its V50e smartphone that runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 4nm chipset and is positioned in the mid-to-premium segment.
The Vivo V50e packs a 5600mAh capacity battery and boasts a 6.77-inch AMOLED screen with 2392 × 1080 resolution. Local peak brightness is 1,800 nits. 90W fast charging is supported.
For photographers, the phone sports a 50MP Sony IMX882 sensor with OIS and an 8MP wide-angle lens and a 50MP front camera. Furthermore, both the front and rear cameras allow users to shoot 4K video.
The smartphone camera supports a range of photographic modes and offers image enhancement features powered by AI. There is also an ‘Aura Light’ for enhanced portraits.
The 8+128GB variant retails at ₹28,999 while the 8+256GB variant retails at ₹30,999. Students shopping through the Vivo India online store can avail a ₹1,000 discount.
The Vivo V50e runs on FunTouch OS 15 and is available in the Sapphire Blue and Pearl White colours.
