CMF Buds 2a, Buds 2 and Buds 2 Plus launched in India: Details

CMF on Monday (April 28, 2025) launched the new Buds 2 series featuring three wireless earbuds: Buds 2, Buds 2a and Buds 2 Plus. These buds were launched in India along with CMF Phone 2 Pro.

CMF Buds 2a is IP54 rated while the Buds 2 and Buds 2 Plus are IP55 certified for dust and splashes.

CMF Buds 2 comes with Dirac Opteo tuned 11 mm driver, with up to 48 dB hybrid active noise cancellation (ANC) and spatial audio effect. Buds 2 has six HD microphones for clearer calls.

The Buds 2 claims up to 13.5 hours of playback and 55 hours with the case and ANC off. A 10-minute charge also claims up to 7.5 hours of listening.

CMF Buds 2 comes in Dark Grey, Light Green and Orange colours priced at ₹2,699.

CMF Buds 2 Plus

CMF Buds 2 Plus offers Hi-Res LDAC, full EQ customisation and spatial audio. It has Buds 2 Plus has 12 mm LCP driver and N52 magnets for rich sound experience.

Buds 2 Plus claims up to 50dB hybrid ANC. It has adaptive mode for the surroundings. It also features six HD microphones for clearer calls.

Buds 2 Plus claims up to 14 hours of playback on a single charge and 61.5 hours with the case ANC off. A 10-minute top-up claims up to 8.5 hours of listening.

CMF Buds 2 Plus comes in Blue and Light Grey shades priced at ₹3,299.

CMF Buds 2a

CMF Buds 2a is an entry-level option with 42 dB ANC, and transparency mode. It has 12.4 mm bio-fibre driver, four HD microphones for calls and AI-powered environmental noise cancellation (ENC).

Buds 2a claims up to 8 hours playtime on a single charge and 35.5 hours with the case and ANC off. A 10-minute charge claims up to 5.5 hours of playback.

CMF Buds 2a will be available at ₹2,199. Buds 2 and comes in Dark Grey, Light Grey and Orange hues.
